YWCA - Walk A Mile in Her Shoes

 

On September 19, 2011, Arcis' "High Heels & Attitudes" team dressed to the nines and braved the cool weather to walk in support of this annual fundraiser. Proceeds support the YWCA as they help women and children walk away from domestic violence. Together they raised $15,335! Thanks to everyone who donated generously.

 

Easter Seals Camp Horizon - Banded Peak Challenge

The Banded Peak Challenge is a unique outdoor adventure fundraiser in support of Easter Seals Camp Horizon, a one-of-a-kind camp for kids with special needs.

On July 23, 2011, six Arcis participants completed a return 27 km bike and a 10 km hike to the 9,626 ft summit of Banded Peak Mountain in Kananaskis Country. They raised $6,135, almost 10% of the event total for this worthy cause.

Radisson Park School - Student Activity Day

On June 22, 2011, a group of Arcis employees had the privilege of helping out at Activity Day at Radisson Park School. We assisted staff at a variety of activity stations, including a Reading Tent and a Fruit Station.

Radisson Park School - Djembe Drumming Club

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 11 - February 10, 2011, a group of volunteers from Arcis assist and participate in Djembe Drumming at Radisson Park School. The kids have a great time as do the volunteers!

YWCA - Sheriff King Home

On October 14, 2010, a group of Arcis employees volunteered their time to clean and organize the client clothing room and the play therapy room at the Sheriff King Home. The Sheriff King Home promotes health and empowerment for women and their families who have experienced domestic abuse.

 

Providence breaks ground on new school for preschoolers with disabilities

On September 16, 2010, a therapeutic and educational preschool for children with disabilities broke ground for its new southeast school in McKenzie Towne. Brad Torry, Arcis President and CEO was there.

Providence Schools - Windsor Park School Painting

As part of Arcis' ongoing relationship with Providence Schools, a group of employees donated time and energy from July 6 - 8, 2010 to help paint classrooms.
