Accountant
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this position will provide support to the Accounting and Finance Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accounts receivable management including invoicing, processing, AR batches and identifying areas for improvement while coordinating with business units to streamline processes
- Assist in month-end process and monthly financial package preparation including reconciliations and consolidation workbook preparation
- Act as key contact for expense reports process
- Acting backup for the full cycle of accounts payable and payroll function
- Assist with cash function, including certain journal entries and resolving banking issues
- Responsible for foreign exchange accounting
- Liaise with finance team on special projects to improve accounting functions and processes
- Other requirements as assigned by the Controller and Senior Accountant
Qualifications & Requirements:
- The successful candidate will possess or be working towards a certificate/diploma or degree in Accounting
- Interest in an accounting designation program (CMA or CGA)
- 2-4 years experience in an accounting department
- Knowledge of Great Plains or similar accounting software would be an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Must be able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment as well as independently

Project Coordinator
Overview:
The position of Project Coordinator for our Operations division serves to assist the field operations management with all administrative aspects of our seismic programs in various crew locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Administration
- Utilize the company’s internal iTrak system to
- Prepare bid letters and contracts;
- General project administration;
- Occupational Health & Safety Administrative support
- Assist in the execution of Arcis’ HSE program;
- Field support
- Support Manager with recruitment of field support staff
- Monitor performance, provide feedback and training to field admin staff
- Administration of field expenses and reports;
- Organize and file field paperwork
Qualifications:
- 1 + years direct experience in a bookkeeping or administrative role;
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (e.g. word, excel and power-point).
- The ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Competencies include detail oriented, analytical, multi-tasking, able to work under pressure with both time and resources;
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision;

Reservoir Geoscientist
The ideal match of this position will have a minimum BSc in geosciences (geology, geophysics, petro-physics) with a minimum of five years of industry experience in geology and geophysics. Basic knowledge of seismic data processing, geophysics, petro-physics, risk evaluation, geochemistry, sequence stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, and basic reservoir engineering is required.

The incumbent will provide geotechnical support; designing tools for measuring risk and rewards; geotechnical evaluation related to “third party” opportunities; developing case histories, reservoir analysis and related consulting; and special projects requiring geotechnical support, technical writing, and networking initiatives.
