Interactive Geometry
Interactive geometry analysis to build and check geometries effectively and efficiently
Marine is Arcis Processing's front end marine package.
For any project, 2D or 3D, the user can import the navigation file and quickly define and qc geometry information, which is written to a database file that is used when applying geometry to the data.
For incomplete navigation files, where only shot information is supplied, our utility Makenav will create a complete navigation file where the receiver values are generated as per user defined parameters.
Any number of sail lines can be specified for a project - and it's quick and easy to QC navigation information on sail line, shot or receiver basis simply by clicking on the pertinent line on the Information dialog.
When the datafiles are specified, the user can link them to the appropriate sail lines and the program automatically populates the Geometry Spreadsheet with the file numbers. The user simply goes down the column and aligns file numbers with station numbers as per the observer reports.
Time to bin the data. Marine knows if the geometry is 2D or 3D and will bring up the pertinent binning dialog. Enter the binning parameters and compute the fold. For 3D geometries, there is even an optimal fold option and, if selected, Marine will compute the grid which gives the most uniform fold pattern.
Use the on screen plots to QC your parameters and generate client-ready hardcopies.
All done? With a click of a button Marine will create all the job files for batch submission. Hundreds of jobs? No problem with our state-of-the-art Job Queue Manager - one click and all jobs are submitted to the network at once.
