Peter Cary, PGeoph
PhD Geophysics
Chief Geophysicist, Multicomponent & New Technology
Peter has 25 plus years of experience in the geophysical industry focused primarily on technical issues surrounding the processing of seismic data. He prefers to work on problems that arise in the struggle to improve all aspects of day to day processing, and this has led him down paths that have covered virtually every aspect of seismic processing including deconvolution, multiple attenuation, migration, interpolation, noise attenuation and AVO-compliant time-lapse processing. More than 25 years ago, Peter began processing multicomponent data, and he has now amassed a wealth of experience in the all aspects of multicomponent technology.
Peter’s role at Arcis is to develop and maintain multicomponent processing capabilities to the highest standards of the industry, as well as to help oversee and manage all aspects of new technical developments.
