Seismic Data Processing
Arcis provides 2D and 3D, land, marine and depth, seismic data processing for domestic and international markets. Arcis has the resources, expertise, and state-of-the-art technology to process today's large, structurally complex data volumes. To improve the quality of our service and to better serve our customers, we continue to invest in the development of our own proprietary software and tools.
Seismic Characterization of Reservoirs
Seismic characterization of reservoirs is vital for Exploration and
Production of hydrocarbons. Seismic reservoir characterization assists in the
definition of geometry of a reservoir, the distribution of physical property
characteristics within a reservoir and in correlation of all available detail.
Arcis endeavors to bring value to its client's reservoir assets through a range
of services. Arcis specializes in working with its clients for drawing out
convincing solutions to individual specific problems.
Participation Surveys
As energy companies increasingly strive to reduce the cost of seismic data, they are turning to cost-sharing arrangements such as participation surveys.
Arcis provides access to new, high quality 2D and 3D seismic data through projects that are pre-funded by individual or multiple customers, in areas where there is believed to be demand for high resolution seismic data, due to either a lack of existing coverage or inadequate vintage data.
Typically, Arcis retains ownership of the data and sells licenses to our customers on a non-exclusive basis, providing access to data at a fraction of the acquisition cost for proprietary surveys.
Arcis is the only spec data provider with Geoscientists on staff and the only provider to create final technical reports on all new data acquisition.
Data Library
Arcis offers one of the most current seismic data libraries of predominantly 3D data for the Canadian Sedimentary Basin, including Northeast British Columbia. The data library consists of 2D and 3D seismic data for which Arcis has ownership or control of the data, and for which a licensed copy of the data may be sold to any interested party.
Data Marketing
Arcis provides seismic data brokerage and marketing services to
the energy industry.
Data Management
Arcis manages and markets seismic data libraries on behalf of several oil and gas companies.
Geotechnical and Digital Media Services
Geotechnical services are an integral part of Arcis integrated seismic solutions offering. Services include, GIS/mapping, Government approvals, 3D design and modeling, and survey project management. Digital media services include, tape consolidation, 3D data extraction, workstation services, and mapping/modeling.
